Snow and 60

This past SAturday Sam, Finn and I woke up to a winter wonderland (not quite) but it was Finns FIRST snow.  By first snow I mean that this was the first snow that he might actually comprehend that something is different outside, that everything is covered in a layer of white, and that the white stuff is COLD!

So, we got him bundled up into his snowsuit (thanks to Aunt T)

and set out to take a walk and burn off some of the pent up energy that this 16 month old has inside his little body.  The results were even.  Meaning that evenly opposed to each other.  One second he would love it,

Then hate it.

He did thoroughly enjoy going down the “hill” on the sled with Daddy…  then promptly broke into sobs because his hands were freezing.

So, that was this past Saturday.

Here I am, Tuesday afternoon, and we’re both without jackets, playing outside in the yard in 60 degree weather.

Mind you, I’m definitely not complaining, I’d take the 60 degrees any day… but does this make ANY sense???
